First Visit
Arrival

Upon arriving at our office you will be greeted, you will sign in, and have all paperwork thoroughly explained to you. Examination
You will be brought to the doctors examining room where he will listen thoroughly to what brought you to the office. He will answer any questions that you may have regarding your treatment and care. For your examination, you will remain fully clothed. The examination will include orthopedic, neurological, range of motion and muscle evaluation. The doctor will let you know what his findings are during your Report of Findings on your second visit.
X-rays
Based on the examination findings, X-rays or other types of diagnostic imaging may be necessary. These images provide valuable information about the patients spinal and general health. They also help the doctor in creating a treatment program specific to your unique spinal condition. If X-rays of the area of complaint have been taken at another facility, you may pick them up and bring them with you to your exam. You can also fill out a records release form and we will obtain them for you.

What to Expect on Your Second Visit
Report of Findings
After the doctor reviews your health history, examination findings and X-rays, a diagnosis and treatment plan will be presented. At this time, the doctor may recommend additional tests or a consultation with a medical specialist if the condition warrants.
Physiotherapy and Manipulative Therapy
Physiotherapeutic modalities are again used to help reduce inflammation, provide pain relief and enhance the healing process. At this time manipulative therapy is also performed. This helps to restore motion to the effected joint of the body. Massage therapy, therapeutic stretches and exercises may also be prescribed to address problem areas. In our clinic, treatment is considered a partnership between the patient and the doctor.
